Cities, Migration, and Climate Change Workshop

Safer Nairobi Initiative took part to a workshop on Tuesday 23rd of January 2024 at  The Aga Khan University in partnership with Samuel Hall. Three panel members made their presentations regarding various climate change related challenges that affect migrants, undocumented people, and refugees in Africa and Asia. Safer Nairobi Initiative team alongside other participants from different organisations increased their knowledge through an interactive question and answer session before watching a documented story exposing the refugees' reality in the ground during chaos that happened in Somali and Rwanda some decades ago. It was through the panel presentations, gallery exhibition, and the interactive question and answer session that participants understood the causes, consequences, challenges, and specific strategies that, if well implemented, could bring about social inclusion and economic empowerment of migrants, undocumented people, and refugees all over the world.#safernairobiinitiative#cityofchoiceproject#nairobicounty#unhabitat
